FT Events curated and managed the festival’s food and catering operations, coordinating multiple food trucks, coffee carts and a high-volume corporate BBQ activation. We also supported the delivery of roaming entertainment, including stilt walkers, and worked closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration across the event footprint.

The Experience
With tens of thousands of cricket fans moving through Yarra Park each day, the festival provided a relaxed, family-friendly space featuring quality food offerings, roaming performers, DJs and a chill-out zone with a big screen to watch the match live.

The Outcome
The activation successfully delivered a vibrant, well-managed festival environment that complemented the Boxing Day Test, supported sponsor objectives and enhanced the overall spectator experience outside the MCG.
